This Privacy Policy explains how On Hive (“On Hive”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use onhive.xyz and related services (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
Account information you provide: name, email, password (stored hashed), and any team members you invite.
Usage information you create in the Service: your watched corridors, saved stack, alert settings, and preferences.
Payment information: subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number; we retain a Stripe customer reference and subscription status.
Technical and analytics information: IP address, device and browser data, and usage events collected through cookies and analytics tools to operate and improve the Service.
2. How we use information
To provide and maintain the Service; authenticate you; process subscriptions; send the emails you are subscribed to (such as the weekly report, daily brief, and alerts); respond to support requests; secure and improve the Service; and comply with legal obligations.
3. Service providers we share with
We share personal information with vendors that process it on our behalf, under contract, only to provide the Service:
- Stripe — payments and billing
- Supabase — authentication and database
- Vercel — application hosting
- Brevo — transactional and newsletter email
- Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — product analytics
- Anthropic — AI processing of intelligence content (not your personal data)
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
5. Email communications
You can manage which emails you receive from the Notifications section of your account, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We may still send essential account and transactional messages (for example, billing and security notices).
6. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise your personal information, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update your profile and delete your account from your account settings, or contact us at hello@onhive.xyz to exercise these rights.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
We and our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Children
The Service is for business use and is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
